ABS' Micro-Clean™ is an aqueous-based degreaser. The microbial blend removes grease, oil and other hydrocarbon surface contamination by feeding on the contaminant. In the process of feeding, the surface tension of the contaminant is reduced causing it to sheet off the part.

Micro-Clean™ is effective on grease, oil, fuel, hydraulic fluid or any short or long-chain hydrocarbon and is easily incorporated into stand-alone parts washers, wash racks and oil/water separators. From the largest vertically integrated manufacturer to the corner auto repair shop, Micro-Clean™ is a remarkably effective and useful solution with many uses including the puddle of oil or grease on the concrete under the forklift or out on the drive.

Micro-Clean™ eliminates hazardous waste streams. The microbes continuously remediate the contaminant. The end result is non-hazardous…water, carbon dioxide and a fatty amino acid that remains on the surface of the part and minimizes flash rusting.
